Our advanced incoming telephone services include all the features and benefits of our more basic incoming phone service, but with more flexibility and customizibility.

One option for a caller could be to have a menu of options. As you're surely familiar with, a caller would be prompted to make one or more selections before being connected to a person or voicemail box. These selections could be used for a number of things. In the past, we've had customers use these options to route the call to a specific agent or mailbox, to get vital information from the user to be displayed on the agent's phone when the caller rings through or to be attached to the voicemail, to be emailed to someone within the company for information gathering, or entered into a database (for information gathering, telephone survey results, account cancellation, etc..)

We can also configure caller queues with or without music, where callers are placed into a queue and transferred to one or more agents as they become available. The caller can hear music, promotional messages, or any other audio content while they wait in the queue. In the past, we've also had interactive questions for the caller to answer while they waited.

Furthermore, we can also setup complex 'find-me' scripts, where the receiver of the call can create a list of phone numbers to try in a certain order. This list can also be manipulated based on what time of the day it is. Upon receiving a call, the system would try each number in order until it was able to get hold of the person who the call was destined for. Once the system was able to confirm the user that answered was the correct user (for example, either by saying something to the effect of 'This call is for [name], if this is you, press 1', or by requesting the user enter a PIN to receive the call), the receiver of the call and the caller would be connected.

The options for handling calls using VoIP are limited only by what you want to do with them. If you have an idea, feel free to contact us for a consultation and pricing information.
